Your instructor begins by reading your entire manuscript before editing each page, line by line, making notations and comments directly on your story or article. Your work is then returned to you with a detailed letter of critique pointing out the strengths of your manuscript, and suggesting how to use them to even greater advantage, as well as your weaknesses, with specific steps you can take to overcome them.

This method of one-on-one instruction is the most effective method yet developed to teach writing. It leads to an increasingly strong bond between instructor and student, which builds trust and confidence and encourages students to spread their creative wings and fly to new heights.
